Thornycroft Nubian 4x4 Recovery

Probably converted from an ex Raf Airfield Crash Tender this vehicle had just completed the HCVS Trans-Pennine Run in August 2010.
Powered by a Rolls Royce petrol engine the vehicle is from the late 1950's or early 1960's.
There are not many 4x4 Nubian's in preservation, the image was taken in Harrogate, England.

I think I have some info about this thornycroft if its the same one I am going to find the book its in from pennine run
