1919 - Leyland Raf Type Box Van
This vehicle was supplied to Chivers & Sons Ltd, jam makers of Histon, Cambridgeshire, who ran it until 1934. It had a large water tank fitted in the late 1930's to be used in conjunction with the works fire engine.
It was subsequently restored by Chivers and attended the first London to Brighton Run in 1962, where it was presented to the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society (HCVS).
In recent years it has been on show at the British Commercial Vehicle Museum in Leyland, Lancashire.
The image was taken at the HCVS Ridgeway Run, Oxfordshire, England in June 2011.
