Old Soldiers Never Die

Saw this 4X4 truck seemingly abandoned on 07/11/15 in Harare. Certainly looks ex military, but is the only one of its kind i have ever seen here. I recall seeing this truck actually being driven around about three years ago. Looks like a Volvo L55, but that's just a guess.

Actually meant Scania L55/56. Note the cast spoke American Dayton type rims. Can anyone shed light on this truck and where it originally came from?

If it's a Scania (Vabis) it would be Swedish made.
